【摘要】:Theuseofthisapparatusisintendedtoinducepropertychangesassociatedwiththeenduseconditions,includingtheeffectsofsunlight,moisture,andheat.Theseexposuresmayincludeameanstointroducemoisturetothetestspecimen.Exposuresarenotintendedtosimulatethedeteriorationcausedbylocalizedweatherphenomena,suchasatmosphericpollution,biologicalattack,andsaltwaterexposure.Alternatively,theexposuremaysimulatetheeffectsofsunlightthroughwindowglass.Typically,theseexposureswouldincludemoistureintheformofhumidity.Cautions8212;RefertoPracticeG151forfullcautionaryguidanceapplicabletoalllaboratoryweatheringdevices.5.2.1Variationinresultsmaybeexpectedwhenoperatingconditionsarevariedwithintheacceptedlimitsofthispractice.Therefore,noreferenceshallbemadetoresultsfromtheuseofthispracticeunlessaccompaniedbyareportdetailingthespecificoperatingconditionsinconformancewithSection10.5.2.2Itisrecommendedthatasimilarmaterialofknownperformance,acontrol,beexposedsimultaneouslywiththetestspecimentoprovideastandardforcomparativepurposes.Itisrecommendedthatatleastthreereplicatesofeachmaterialevaluatedbeexposedineachtesttoallowforstatisticalevaluationofresults.1.1Thispracticecoversthebasicprinciplesandoperatingproceduresforusingenclosedcarbon-arclightandwaterapparatusintendedtoreproducetheweatheringeffectsthatoccurwhenmaterialsareexposedtosunlight(eitherdirectorthroughwindowglass)andmoistureasrainordewinactualuse.Thispracticeislimitedtotheproceduresforobtaining,measuring,andcontrollingconditionsofexposure.Anumberofexposureproceduresarelistedinanappendix;however,thispracticedoesnotspecifytheexposureconditionsbestsuitedforthematerialtobetested.Note1PracticeG151describesperformancecriteriaforallexposuredevicesthatuselaboratorylightsources.ThispracticereplacesPracticeG23,whichdescribesveryspecificdesignsfordevicesusedforcarbon-arcexposures.TheapparatusdescribedinPracticeG23iscoveredbythispractice.1.2Testspecimensareexposedtoenclosedcarbonarclightundercontrolledenvironmentalconditions.1.3Specimenpreparationandevaluationoftheresultsarecoveredinvariousmethodsorspecificationsforspecificmaterials.GeneralguidanceisgiveninPracticeG151andISO4892-1.MorespecificinformationaboutmethodsfordeterminingthechangeinpropertiesafterexposureandreportingtheseresultsisdescribedinISO4582.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.5.1Shouldanyozonebegeneratedfromtheoperationofthelightsource,itshallbecarriedawayfromthetestspecimensandoperatingpersonnelbyanexhaustsystem.

【摘要】:Thisstandardguideappliestoconcretethatisstillinplacewithadefinedgeometryandknown,documentedhistory.Itisnotintendedforuseonconcretethathasalreadybeenrubbelizedwhereitisdifficulttomeasuretheradiationlevelsandnoteasytoremovesurfacecontaminationtoreduceradiationlevelsafterconcretehasbeenrubbelized.Thisstandardguideappliestosurfaceorvolumetricallycontaminatedconcrete,wherethedepthofcontaminationcanbemeasuredorestimatedbasedonthehistoryoftheconcrete.Thisstandardguidedoesnotapplytothereinforcementbar(rebar)foundinconcrete.Althoughmostconcretecontainsrebar,itisgenerallyremovedbeforetheconcreteisdispositioned.Inaddition,rebarmaybeactivated,andiscoveredunderproceduresforreuseofscrapmetal.Generalunit-doseandunit-costdatatosupportthecalculationsisprovidedintheappendicesofthisstandardguide.However,ifsite-specificdataisavailable,itshouldbeusedinsteadofthegeneralinformationprovidedhere.Thisstandardguidehelpsdetermineestimateddosestothepublicduringdisposalofconcreteandtofutureresidentsofdisposalareas.Itdoesnotincludedosetoradiationworkersalreadyinvolvedinaradiationcontrolprogram.Itisassumedthatthedosetoradiationworkersisalreadytrackedandkeptwithinacceptablelevelsthrougharadiationcontrolprogram.Thecostanddosetoradiationworkerscouldbeaddedintofindanoverallcostanddoseforeachoption.1.1Thisstandardguidedefinestheprocessfordevelopingastrategyfordispositioningconcretefromnuclearfacilitydecommissioning.Itoutlinesa10-stepmethodtoevaluatedisposaloptionsforradioactivelycontaminatedconcrete.Oneofthestepsistocompleteadetailedanalysisofthecostanddosetononradiationworkers(thepublic);themethodologyandsupportingdatatoperformthisanalysisaredetailedintheappendices.Theresultingdatacanbeusedtobalancedoseandcostandselectthebestdisposaloption.Thesedata,whichestablishatechnicalbasistoapplytoreleasetheconcrete,canbeusedinseveralways:(1)toshowthatthereleasemeetsexistingreleasecriteria,(2)toestablishabasistorequestreleaseoftheconcreteonacase-by-casebasis,(3)todevelopabasisforestablishingreleasecriteriawherenoneexists.1.2Thisstandardguideisbasedonthex201C;ProtocolforDevelopmentofAuthorizedReleaseLimitsforConcreteatU.S.DepartmentofEnergySites,x201D;(1)fromwhichtheanalysismethodologyandsupportingdataaretaken.1.3GuideE1760providesageneralprocessforreleaseofmaterialscontainingresidualamountsofradioactivity.Inaddition,GuideE1278providesageneralprocessforanalyzingradioactivepathways.ThisstandardguideisintendedforuseinconjunctionwithGuidesE1760andE1278,andprovidesamoredetailedapproachforthereleaseofconcrete.
