【摘要】:ThispartofENISO13937describesasingle-tearmethodtodeterminefabrictearforce,knownasthetrousertest,usingatestspecimencuttoformtrouser-shapedlegs.Thetearforcemeasuredistheforcerequiredtopropagateapreviouslystartedsingletearwhentheforceisappliedparalleltothecutandthefabrictearsinthedirectionofappliedforce.Thetestismainlyapplicabletowoventextilefabrics.Itmaybeapplicabletofabricsproducedbyothertechniques,e.g.tosomenonwovens(withthesameunder-mentionedrestrictionsasforthewovenfabrics).Ingeneralthemethodisnotapplicabletoknittedfabricsandwovenelasticfabrics.Itisnotsuitableforhighlyanisotropicfabricsorloosefabricswhereteartransferfromonedirectiontoanotherdirectionofthefabricduringtheteartestislikelytooccur.Themethodonlyallowstheuseofconstant-rate-of-extension(CRE)testingmachines.NOTE1:Forotherteartestmethodsusingtensile-testingmachinespart3ofENISO13937describesamethodknownasthewingtestandpart4thetonguetestmethod.Part1ofENISO13937describestheballisticpendulum(Elmendorf)method.NOTE2:Forthetrapezoidaltestmethod,seeISO9073-4fornonwovensorISO4674forcoatedfabrics.
